About AKA
The Academy of Finland is the National Research Council under the Ministry of Education. In its meeting of April 22, 2003 , the Research Council for Biosciences and Environment decided to establish the Finnish Plant Genomics Research Programme. The funding for plant genomics and proteomics research is €12 million over the period of 2000-2005.
